From January 17 to March 29, Ibiza capital celebrates the ninth edition of Patrimoni Gastronòmic, a conference organized by the City Council of Eivissa that aims to offer a series of high quality menus at a good price, inspired by the culinary culture of countries and cities declared World Heritage by UNESCO. This year a total of eleven restaurants in the city participate, with themed menus at a price of 20 euros (drinks not included).
The participating restaurants are Can Alfredo, La Cava, Ebusus CbbC Restaurant, Hotel Pachá, Sa Nansa, IT Ibiza, Casa Maca, Bamboo Viet Food, Can Moreta, Es Mercat and Restaurant Pitiuso Hotel THB Los Molinos. Ibiza has inspired the thematic menus of five of them (Can Alfredo, Se Mercado, It Ibiza, Sano Nansa and Restaurant Pitiuso Hotel THB Los Molinos). Bamboo Viet food opts for Vietnamese cuisine, Casa Maca for Peruvian cuisine and Can Moreta for the island of Mallorca, while Ebusus CbbC Restaurant pays homage to the cuisine of the city of Córdoba and Hotel Pachá to the city from Mexico D.F.
Apart from these menus, cooking workshops for professionals and the general public will also be held during the months of February and March, which will be taught by Marga Orell and Marina Ribas. Thus, Marina Ribas will offer a workshop on native superfoods on February 8 and another on a zero kilometer healthy menu on March 7. On the other hand, Marga Orell will offer on February 22 a family Carnival menu for parents and children with festive dishes, while on March 28 the workshop will be about traditional Easter dishes.
The courses will cost 10 euros per student and in the family workshop on February 22, children can attend for free. The courses will be held at Es Graner de Can Coves (c/ Es Fusters, nº6, Polígono Montecristo). All interested parties can register through the email address informacioturistica@eivissa.es.
