Discover Ibizan crafts
Ibiza Town is home to three street markets offering primarily local arts and crafts. The markets open during the summer months, though some stalls also operate on specific dates throughout the year, mainly during local festivals.
The Puerto de Eivissa market has been attracting visitors from the world over since 1974, when it first opened. It features 45 stalls offering local crafts, jewellery, trinkets and leather goods.
The market is located in the heart of the town’s nightlife district, between Plaça Antoni Riquer and Plaça Sa Tertulia, and opens from May to October from early evening to the early hours of the morning.
The Ses Figueretes market also opens in the summer months during more or less the same hours and features 24 stalls offering clothing, trinkets, ceramics, accessories and assorted souvenirs. It is located along the delightful seafront promenade among numerous bars and restaurants.
The most recently-opened market is located in the central Plaça del Parque and features the works of ten local artists from the Sa Pedrera Craft’s Market, including jewellery, trinkets, ceramics, leather goods and a selection of gifts inspired by the magic, landscape and traditions of the island. The market opens every night from May to October as well as on specific dates such as Christmas and Easter Week.
