One of the most picturesque parts of the town, with the traditional llaüts
The fishing wharf is located on Avinguda de la Santa Eularia, which runs perpendicular to the old harbour. From here the traditional llaüts (fishing boats) come and go on a daily basis. When in port, the ‘craftsman’ aesthetic of the boats, with nets and boxes stacked on the deck, and the old town in the background offers one of the best ‘postcard’ images on the entire island.
Right beside the wharf is the Cofradía de Pescadores, or Fishermen’s Association, where daily catches are weighed and distributed.
